Sarah Palin: A pretty good speech

Published by cajunrooster at 3:44 am under News Edit This

Sarah Palin is a pretty good orator. She did a nice job in her acceptance speech of being articulate and in command. I thought the center stage may have thrown her off a bit, but she breezed right through the speech. I think she is ready for the big time.

I don’t think she will back down from a fight either. She pointed out some pretty poignant things about Barack Hussein Obama last night. The media says she will be the attack dog. I don’t think you are attacking someone when you just present fact. That’s tough for a liberal to understand. They don’t do fact; only interpretation!!

The media was funny after this. The whole deal was a “yes, but”. They had to say she did a good job, the they had to throw a caveat of some sort in the mix. When Biden speaks he’s just a “yes”. When Obama speaks they get the stone tablets out!!

Mrs. Palin did a great job. When she brings her family on we can really see America. She is a good choice. She will be quick study and a tough competitor. Most Republicans don’t act like this woman. She’s a true conservative and will put some balance in the McCain ticket.

I’d like to see all the candidates write their own speeches so that we heard what they really felt rather than soundbytes that the media will use to champion or demolish whichever candidate they decide to focus on.

Americans are done listening to the hate-mongering conservatives. Palin’s speech was just that: If you don’t vote McCain, you hate America. I got news for you, Sarah, we’re not ready for another four years of failure. We’re ready to change the nation into what it was before George Bush Jr. We’re ready to accept all Americans for who they are and quit acting like an international police force.

First in reply to your comment on my blog,I would be wary of calling any women toots in this day and age. It is condescending and not an appropriate way to start a conversation. Secondly, this liberal women didn’t ask for a woman on the ballot we asked for the woman. We are not simply seeking a female in or near the oval office we were asking for the right person. To suppose that just by having a woman as a running mate that McCain is appeasing the liberal women is idiotic.
